If you wish for it long enough

It might just happen. Gordon Brown finally annoucnes his intention to resign as of September.

In this case, I wouldn't mind so much if the Lib Dems do offer to form an alliance with Labour. I still prefer a Tory/Lib Dem alliance if I had to pick. I'm sure Brown is a nice, decent guy with his heart in the right place, but frankly, as PM, he just couldn't do the job.

More positive news, Nick Clegg is playing these negotiations well, making the Tories offer some kind of referendum on electoral reform after a whole weekend of saying they wouldn't.

Good news for a Monday!

it is nice to hear Gordan Brown has resigned. It looks like the Lib Dems + Tories will form an allience allthough I am unsure yet how their talks went today. it would be then interesting if Lib Dem form an Allience with Labour now G.B. has gone. Very interesting.
I really like your icon btw.

Talks went well, especially given that the Tories are now offering a referendum on electoral reform. I don't envy Nick Clegg, that's gotta be one tough decision, Tory or Labour (even without GB).

Thanks! I love getting new icons. :D
