*points to own list of schools* My parents kept moving for unknown reasons; I suspect it had to do with their depressions and drug use. It's hard to get a straight answer out of them - they're both sort of in la la land when it comes to trying to pin down hard fact. *sighs* The end result of it all was that I don't have the overwhelming need to take abuse for the 'privilege' of belonging in social groupings, and am generally content being a hermit. Oh, and I did sort of burn out on education young, to my dismay, but then? I had one school sending me home with work so complex that my parents couldn't solve it, and they ARE extremely bright people (for all their other faults).
