....then kudos to you. You know a lot more than I do! Why is it necessary to make these immigration laws so hard to understand? How hard would it be to say it straight out in English so that us poor little migrants can actually figure out what we're supposed to be doing with ourselves?

This is the draft bill of the new immigration laws the UK government wants to put in place. I have a problem with this as I haven't a clue how it's going to affect me as a migrant 6 months away from applying for citizenship. Do I have to go back and do 'probationary' citizenship (that was a bad term if ever I heard one) or just wait longer? Or am I totally exempt? I can't ask the organisation who deals with immigration questions because they haven't got a clue either. :P
This is the kind of stuff that really stresses me out, it really wouldn't have been that much more effort for the Home Office to make a statement about people in my situation, it would have made our lives a little easier.
