Earthquakes

I got the shock of the year last night about 1:00 am. An earthquake hit Britain at about 5 on the richter scale. I live close to Lincolnshire, so my partner and I woke up to the sound of a rumbling roar and the feeling that the room was shaking slightly. I went back to sleep and got up in the morning to find all the roadworks equipment across from my house had fallen over. Freaky stuff, espcially at 1:00 am when you don't know what's going on.

OMG that's so scary! Do earthquakes usually hit England???

Apparently we regularly get them, but they're so small, not more than 2 on the richter, that no one ever notices. I think the last time we had a noticable one was in 2004 and it wasn't as big as this one.
